My advice to you. Expect the worst then, be surprised when it comes in. Assume it will take several months. Don't check forums or status daily. It will consume, excite, inform, and agitate you. Ford is doing everything they can to get these trucks out. Good luck!
i can’t. i got a lease deal for $100 a week. If I were to place a new order now it would cost me probably $250 a week.
Goooot it, well I hope things speed up for ya. Yeah in the end probably well worth the wait in that case. If you ever get a VIN and need help tracking its progress let me know. I work at Ford so I can see some of the extra vehicle progress sites and that. Not in a position to help with your order though unfortunately.
Can you outline for me what the actual order process is? I ordered mine on Aug 20th, was told that it would be Rain-checked to a 2022 (i'm fine with that as i'm in no rush) but I get zero communication from my dealer. No new order number, no vin and no estimation of any sort on when it will arrive.
If they are gonna wait to make yours a 2022 - the order bank opens for that next week (9/30). Once it opens you’ll get the order number, but the VIN will depend on scheduling and commodities .
