It's settled. This part causes flat tires. Pics.

After 30 years of driving trucks, I am now convinced that the part pictured below causes flat tires. I went 20 years without a flat and since my truck was fitted (for the first time in my life) with this part (see pic) I have had 3 flat tires in 13 months. There are 4 of these on the truck with one on each wheel. I may strategically remove half of them and replace one with a GM Manufactured part and the other with a Ram OEM item. I could then verify that I am, in fact correct, as the remaining Ford parts will certainly cause additionally flats. I'll report back periodically. I'm exploring legal remedies. Let me know if you are interested in joining a class action against Ford as they are clearly colluding with the tire industry and out to get us.

My tire rotation technician pointed out that there are alternatives that wouldn't require you to contaminate your Ford with those toxic brand parts.

Oh, and she works for peanut butter and jelly. So not that bad. But I DO-MUST let her help. That precedent was set while she was still in diapers.

And yes, my KingRanch brother from OZ, they are beautiful wheels for OEM on a pickup truck.

There is a trade off in life to everything. I live in a growing suburban community. New home starts are not just common, they are the standard. Homebuilders love to leave nails on roads. I personally decided that flat tires were not for me. Thus, I bit the bullet on fuel economy and went 10 Ply. I've pulled many nails out, fence staples, even a piece of razor over the years. Since I started with a 10 Ply tire I have never had a flat.

She is gonna break hearts in a couple of years. Might want to invest in the local Snap-On vendor's business because I don't she is gonna get her head turned by anyone with "made in Taiwan" tools.

I KNEW IT!!! King Ranch trucks are not equipped with the flat-causing part.
