Apologies if I missed something.
Just got my device and am trying to get it setup.
I connected to my WiFi, hit the option for custom software and it asks for the URL. I am using: installer.comma.ai/BluePilotDev/bp-3.1

also tried https:// with no change


The comma device then says downloading, installing, goes to 10% and then reboots back to the comma logo and the Getting Started Screen.
Am I missing something here?

Double check all the capitalization. If that is correct try a different WiFi. Take the device inside and use a phone charger to power it. The device can’t buffer, so if it drops the connection for even a millisecond it starts over.

just took it inside and tried both on the home WiFi and my Hotspot. No dice. Tried the 3.1 and 3.0 installer and same exact thing happens.

I am trying to install OpenPilot now just to rule out any hardware issues and it seems to be succeeding. Prompting me for an Operating System Upgrade. Should I go ahead and do it?

Figure I can reset after and try BP again.

Okay, so after installing OpenPilot, doing a Software update, going through their tutorials, then resetting, installing BP, doing another software update, hanging on the comma screen, then a final reset and install it looks like we are in business. I have made it to the welcome to SunnyPilot screen

Took it on a test drive and it works!

Ran into an issue where for some reason after installing it, my CarPlay wouldn't connect with my iPhone. Took several restarts of the truck / iPhone for the truck to connect again. Wonder if plugging the Comma Harness in put the system into a weird state for a bit. At that point the Comma flipped to Dashcam only mode. I pulled it off the dock and re-connected and that solved that.

I need to figure out how to tweak a few things as it seems to be slightly off center in the lane and to the left on curves. Looks like I can enable the Longitude / Latitude control and adjust slightly as mentioned in previous messages.

Also need to find to see if there is an option that controls stopping distance somewhere as it stops a bit fast for my taste.

Other than that it’s pretty cool.

I did go into the BluePilot menu and change the car to F150 after so not sure if that makes a difference on anything.

Menu --> Developer --> Enable SunnyPilot Longitudinal Control

What do you have for that setting?

This was not enabled. I did enable it and it seems better based on a short test drive.

before you were using stock ford ACC. Make sure you understand the limits of both:

I was running 2.1 Staging for the last several months and had no issues. For some reason, yesterday when I got in my truck, it just hung up on the Comma startup screen. No amount of rebooting it would get it past.

Had to come here and get the newest link: installer.comma.ai/BluePilotDev/bp-3.1

I haven't test drove it yet, but I did notice that I don't see the toggle for "Enable longitudinal control". Is that integrated into the SP now with no toggle longer?

I saw this on a previous thread but still not seeing it. I have "Longitudinal Maneuver Mode" but it's grayed out and can't be activated.

Perhaps this has to do with not currently being plugged into the vehicle?

Correct, need to complete one drive first so it can verify which vehicle it is in.

Nice. Excited to give it a whirl. Are there noticeable differences between 2.1 and 3.1?

No. It has a newer model and a lot of custom UI elements, but the control is mostly the same.
