@Ajzride I've been getting this warning for the last few weeks. My truck connects to my house wifi almost nightly. Is open pilot pushing for a newer version? I'm still on 2.1
If you are getting this notice, it doesn't think it is connecting to the wifi. Or maybe it's getting on the wifi but not to the internet for some reason.

I assume the unit must be in car and with car at least in accessory mode, or is there a best way to learn all there is about the unit.

You can use a USB-C phone charger inside to power it up.

I made pushes to all 3.x branches tonight to fix the issue with the car pulling hard to one side when resuming from a stop with MADS turned on.

It looks like I hadn't updated the target branch since the stable nomenclature was deprecated. It was still searching for 'Staging 2.1' and not finding.

interesting. The target branch disappearing creates a failed to check for updates error.

I don't recall seeing this mentioned, moderator can delete if old news. I just received my C3x and it came with the LONG USB-C cable. At time of ordering, I also bought a long cable as I was under impression it only came with the short USB-C cable. Anyway, since I am likely one of the most recent recipients of the C3x, thought I'd mention that it might no longer be necessary to purchase the long cable as an additional item.

I live in Florida, so we are pretty hot (and humid). What are thoughts on need to remove the unit due to heat/sun? Some electronics seem to tolerate heat well...so what about this unit? I mean, it was made to be mounted on the windshield, so might this mean it is built knowing what it will be exposed to? If I'm going to need to constantly remove the unit, I'd like the screen to stay in good condition...has anyone found a suitable screen protector that fits without modification?

A Huawei Mate 10 Pro screen protector fits.

Yes, you should remove it anytime you will be out of the car for more than an hour. If you have a 3D printer, you can make one of my quick docks. If you don't, I can make one for you.

Thanks for the offer. I keep thinking I should get a 3D printer, but so far, nada. Can you tell me how much, how to pay you (I can Venmo, Zelle, Cash APP) and will I need additional cables/adapters (specific info so I can go ahead and order these would be great). I have the above screen protectors on their way.

My C3X had the Connect to internet... message earlier this month. So I had to turn around to go back and connect to my home network. Got it cleared so I could go on my trip.

These "connect-to-the-internet" messages are an unintended consequence of renaming all the branches. There is no exact equivalent of stable anymore, but moving to 3.1 and turning off advanced lateral control should result in pretty much the same driving experience. You would want to set the PC blend high and low ratios to 0.4 to match stable.

The warning that branches aren't testing is normal, Comma puts that on anything that isn't their main branch.

Has anyone succeded in adding Comma to F150 without Copilot 2.0?
Just got 22 CrewCab and doesn't have ACC. I guess front radar ML3T-9G768-AL will be required, as well as new steering wheel w acc button. Possible?

Apologies if I missed something.
Just got my device and am trying to get it setup.
I connected to my WiFi, hit the option for custom software and it asks for the URL. I am using: installer.comma.ai/BluePilotDev/bp-3.1

also tried https:// with no change

The comma device then says downloading, installing, goes to 10% and then reboots back to the comma logo and the Getting Started Screen.
Am I missing something here?
