Better hardware from Comma? I thought Ford has started to encrypt the comm's on Super Duty's and 2024 F-150's? Doesn't that render the Comma or any OpenPilot device useless?

Better hardware from whoever is supplying the ADAS, ford, comma, GM, Toyota, etc. Tesla is the only company with enough hardware to handle solving the model far enough out for this scenario.

And yes encrypted hardware on newer fords means comma won't work.

picky backing on this though newer hardware like a C4 or C4x whenever they make it in the future could probably be upgraded to and retrofit into the 2021 to 2023 trucks until the encryption is broken or someone figures out how to make it another module and with FDRS just adds it as a "trusted" component to the network..

My nags are inconsistent day-to-day, sometimes if I look at my phone for a second or two, it nag me other times I swear I can look at my phone for as long as I want and I’ll get no nags.

Also, really wish it didn’t nag you when you are stopped.

Today it nagged me constantly whenever I took a drink of coffee or a cup with a straw. Even when I'm looking straight foward. It's worse than ford now.

I'm afraid to blink. I think they took it a bit too far.

I have noticed that some mornings when the sun is just right it can blind the driver watch cam. I know its the hardware but I do not think anything can be done. As Scotty would say " you can not change the law of physics!"

I haven't gotten a nag in over a month; I personally thought it got better.

I do not get the nags much at all. Only when I have looked away for several seconds. Even then I can fool it by pushing my sunglasses up on my forehead while tilting my head down to read an email (no I don't make a practice of this).

Right now the distance between a car and me is too long. It invites others to cut in. I hate how hard my truck breaks and when it does it doesnt speed back up quickly enough.
Setting the gap doesnt do much.
Is dynamic personality supposed to help with that?

Hey @Ajzride I saw this yesterday on Discord. Will any of these updates translate over to BluePilot in time or after you guys review them? I see it mentions Toyota and how much different Fords are from what you have said, so I wouldn't expect them to.

No changes that would affect Ford.
