I saw the OP right after it was put up. Spent 30 minutes (that I'll never get back) trying to figure out how to respond...nicely. My grandmother always said "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all". Couldn't, didn't, won't.

I'll be blunt..... Let it go. Its not worth the tension it will cause with your familly relationship. Its just a truck and in all honesty, that damage is nothing. I know its frustrating and I am not minimizing it but, people and familly relationships are far more valuable than a perfect truck, Just my two cents.

I will start ny saying i have sympathy about the dings especially with you taking good care of the truck. That said Agree.l with Bildozer. Issue isnt for the f150 forum but for a therapist. My guess is the venn diagram of therapists and enthusiastic f150 owners doesnt overlap much. Hope you smoothed it out (relationships and dents!)

It’s a TRUCK they are going to get a few scratches and dings. I had to haul a load of gravel in mine a month after I got it. I got some scratches in the bed and top rail of the tail gate where the attendant bumped the plastic cover. With the loader bucket. I have 2 trucks now. HD Denali and the 5.0.Ford both I use and yes they get a few wear marks. The thing is it’s a truck not a Lamborghini. Sorry it happened but if you drive it it is going to happen. Happy Father’s Day to all out there and Happy 250 the United States Army.

i think the only logical solution is trading your current 1yr old USED 2024 in for a NEW 2025 F150 as your 2024 isnt new anymore and has a bad carfax from all that damage.

i get that you let things go...but the constant replying and berating people isnt a good look. ask a moderator to lock this since "you have moved on". seems like you're trolling pretty hard now at this point simply b/c you dont agree with another person's opinion.
