Thanks for the suggestion to turn off the wifi. Like you, no updates since 9/23. I turned off my wifi in the truck yesterday and had a software update today.

So glad I found this thread, I was starting to worry. Turned my WiFi off and got 2 updates this week. Had the truck 15 months, hooked up to home WiFi the day I got it. 21 XLT 5L

I’m going to try that. Haven’t gotten one since November 2023. Tried disconnecting the negative battery cable for 30 minutes, battery fully charged etc. to no avail. Was flawless until I started getting the phantom update.

This worked for me also. I haven't got an update in almost 2 years and after turning wifi off I got one the next day! The same one that's mentioned above. Thanks for this advice and hope I start getting more.

Early on there were some fairly hilarious threads on how to force OTA updates to happen. Such as "Turn the key on/off 3 times, then flash the headlights 5 times, then jump out and hop on your right foot 10 times"

With this thread however, I am starting to think @Borchelt is really on to something!

Some more data points would be good to see.

Hopefully, more will see this, try it, and reply back if it actually helps.

It's on my to-do list once we return home.

I've set a "watch" for this one.

10 days for me, no luck. Showed the download pending up in the corner but no luck. Was worth a try though.

If you have the download pending, it might be one of those rare updates that require a WiFi to complete. Wouldn't hurt to try hooking back up to WiFi and see if it completes.

It wouldn’t download with WiFi, that’s why I tried with it off.
