Try turning off the WIFI in your truck. I have a 21 as well and did this last week. I have received 5 updates since doing this.

Thanks for the suggestion to turn off the wifi. Like you, no updates since 9/23. I turned off my wifi in the truck yesterday and had a software update today.

There are two versions of the owners manual. I happened to look in the first version which did not have the same break-in info. I downloaded version 2 which has this info.

That's what I would think as well. The 2021 manual does not include this info.

I did a log of tempurature, idle time, how many cycles I needed to shift from reverse to neutral to get the truck to move. Detailed logs definately helped.

Just got a notice today that Ford is replacing my transmission with a new one.

It is in at the dealers today for the 3rd time. Auto hold is disabled and the parking brake is not on when this happens. Ford corporate has also been giving advice to the dealer on this so I suspect they would know if anything needed to be disabled in the settings.

There is nothing in the hitch receiver and no audible warnings or warning lights when this happens. The dealer has also been able to replicate this problem. If I step on the gas hard enough it seems to slam into gear. Seems to me that it is not fully engaging in reverse.
