I have just some simple requests

For the STX trim, a leather wrapped steering wheel should at least be an option. I get the STX is a XL, but I think most of us would appreciate the option instead of having to swap it ourselves

I dont like the digital dash, an analog dash would be better, but if you're making us have a digital dash, a better display for RPMs would be nice. It doesn't display much info there, it looks like something is missing

Why must I push the +/- button on the shifter every time I drive the truck to display the gears? On the previous gen the truck would remember what you selected and keep it there. Can we go back to that please?

The suspension is too soft. My front end bounces all over the place on the highway. My 2 previous gens didn't do that

Oh and like others have said, a better transmission. The 10 speed just isn't working out

In no particular order a few things that could be better with my 2022 5.0

1. Make the 10R80 smooth.
2. Make the vents on the far ends of the dash more adjustable (they’re either closed or barely throwing air at you).
3. Less rake from factory
4. Provide graphical user interface updates for digital clusters and 12” touchscreen. Graphics seem a little outdated and the unreal theme although an improvement leaves a lot to be desired with all the glitches

Without screwing up navigation and big screen
We need a passenger button to allow them to use nav,etc so driver can focus on, driving
Like heavy traffic or when gps decides it needs to re route based on up ahead road conditions
I for one don't tske those requests as gospel. And want to see options .
If passenger could scroll the map and search etc. It would help
Truck knows a person is in that seat
So it should be a simple thing
We don't use waze or phones for GPS
However. This last trip to places we had never been, my wife was burning up her phone maps to see and find alternate route..
That small screen took awhile

And air flow in driver outer vent
My 22 it sucked
My 24 sd its blowing air
So somebody changed something
Why not share that. The 22 and 24 interior is dammm near identical
Maybe the heads up display forced an ac vent re route?

Forgot one from earlier but getting cold so I’m reminded again.

There is something not right with the automatic climate control, particularly on cold mornings.

65 will bake your feet. Turn it down to 62/63. Eventually it will start blowing cold so turn it up to 68.

apparently just the way these trucks work based on my research. Worst automatic climate control I’ve ever experienced though.

On the RCSB rotate the cup holder/cell phone tray 180 degree.

Make 4A available at least down to the XLT.
Option to not have the foldaway shifter party trick.
Level it and get rid of the rake.
Introduce LOTS of fun, bold colors.
Lower the price 15%-20% across the board.

One design change for Ford: make a truck that doesn't have to be at the mechanic each month every month for something new and exciting all the time.

That would be nice.

4.5 years driving 2 Powerboost.
One of them did visit the dealership once for a part swap.

I don't think I'm the only person driving vehicles with Blue Ovals and not visiting dealerships.

I get the point. And forums are inviting of hyperbole. But it IS hyperbole.

Offer a larger displacement naturally aspirated V8 based on the DOHC 4V Coyote architecture. Ford already has a 5.2 liter V8 which would be 416 HP and 426 ft lbs of torque based on the HP and TQ per liter of the 5.0.

Put the start button on the console next to shifter.

Design a large King Ranch plaque for the access tailgate and bring back the large tailgate plaque for both the KR and Platinum models.

a DEF free, reliable diesel powerboost. Real world 30-35mpg with lots of torque and electricity would be sweet!
This might be coming with our new EPA Secretary.
