I’m guessing low battery is the culprit. Does the approach lighting not work either?Yeah, it seemed weird to me. My Mustang started right up but the F150 "failed to start" this morning when it wax 13° F outside. the remote unlock wouldnt work either on the F150 so I was trying to connect the dots and the low fuel seemed a likely culprit. Though it might be an OTA update that messed with FordPass, but that's not scheduled until tonight.
It's an XL, no approach lighting. This morning when I tried to start through the app, along with the "failed to start" notification, a window popped up that said "remote start disabled too many attempts. Please start and drive" So I did, started the F150 and after melting the windshield ice, I drove around the block, returned home, parked then went back inside and it started right up through the app. Go figure-I am not trying multiple times to start it, just 3-4 times.. Glad I can at least remote start the mustangI’m guessing low battery is the culprit. Does the approach lighting not work either?
