I parked my 2023 XL with very low gas level last night (less than 8% range left) and the FordPass wouldn't allow remote start this darn cold morning (13°). I was PO'd at first but it made sense actually. After filling up at the gas station a mile away, remote start now working. Go figure...

Mine remote started just fine this morning with 5 miles to empty and 1% fuel level so probably had nothing to do with the gas level

I don't think it has anything to do with gas level either. I use remote start very frequently and noticed the last couple of days its been a struggle for the remote start to actually get to my truck to start it. I'm thinking it was a network issue the last few days. Its been back to normal since yesterday though.

Yeah, it seemed weird to me. My Mustang started right up but the F150 "failed to start" this morning when it wax 13° F outside. the remote unlock wouldnt work either on the F150 so I was trying to connect the dots and the low fuel seemed a likely culprit. Though it might be an OTA update that messed with FordPass, but that's not scheduled until tonight.

I guess I’ll never have this issue, I rarely let the tank get below 1/2 on the winter. We live in the country, who knows when an idiot will take out another power pole and knock out a transformer.

Truck is in the barn this morning.
I could test the remote start, but why wake it from hibernation? ?
The Mach-E is wondering What the heck is this stuff?

Ford F-150 I did not know! 20250121_120840

Very likely the only time it will EVER see it in its lifespan. Doesn't happen on the Gulf Coast often.

Yes, I can relate with this. PITA when someone does this.

You need to put a cover on that side-by-side. They both look pretty cold.

-9 this morning. About 50 in the garage. It might be up to 1 degee when I go to leave work though. I never use remote start no matter how cold. Start and 30-60 seconds later begin driving slowly. My wife has used it a few times though, so I know it works.

-5F this morning, the app just kept "spinning", but FOB was able to remote start it, also noticed the autosensing door handle antennae wasn't unlocking the door by touch. Glad I also have the engine block warmer by the CDN spec order, comes in handy and makes the truck happy and warm inside the cabin.

Meanwhile, 60 miles below the MN/IA border there's hardly a flake of snow anywhere...
