I finally decided to wade in to Forscan. Main reasons are the double-honk, and silent (camping) mode.
So...I backed up all the modules, and got comfortable with the interface. Then decided to flip the magic bit in the BdyCM for the double honk.

Seemed to work, so I took it for a little drive. At first I thought it was running a little rough...but I'm just paranoid about messing with this.
BUT what changed for sure was a few noticeable things on the dash. The MYVIEW settings were different. The THIS TRIP, TRIP 1, and tire pressure for sure were gone from the display. And, I had previously changed the right hand gauge to read PSI, it went back to its default setting.
Are there more little, or big things that changed that I don't know about? Should I be worried? I'm thinking about changing it back just to see what happens and maybe document it. Or maybe this is normal? I've got a big trip coming the end of the month, towing our travel trailer. Don't need surprises on a dirt road in Utah...
Thanks in advance
Glenn
