I had an email back from a dealer stating that "Congratulations! You have been selected for a special Private Cash Offer from Ford Motor Credit, with the potential to save up to $2,000* on your upcoming Ford vehicle purchase. "

I emailed the dealer asking for more info, and haven't heard back.

So having read here that others managed to find offers by calling ford customer service, I tried that route.

They told me that I had to call Ford credit, and gave me the number.

Ford credit said that, no, not them, and transferred me to "Ford Interest Advantage", whatever that is.

And they said they were transferring me to someplace that I didn't catch, and I've been on hold there more than half an hour.

Should I try the chat, or ???

The dealer should be able to find your PCO by pulling your information - Ford keeps it on file for everyone.

Call or visit the dealer.

I tried emailing. I'm trying to avoid locking myself to this one dealer!

I got through to Ford Marketing, and they couldn't find it!

I bet it was a dealer sponsored "pco"
They are not ford so to speak
The dealer prints them or email etc to get you in the office
2k off msrp or whatever ever they sent...is just that. It's a dollar amount off msrp or whatever they advertise vehicle price. Which could be more ...or less than msrp.
Usually fine print excludes using X plan or the like. But does retain cash back offers from ford, of which they will have you sign to them.. if you are not careful

Genuine PCOs come from ford. And any dealer can see them in smart Vincent system
Which shows all cash back, incentives etc you coukd use in your area...plus any real ford PCO,s
