PCO offer today

I received one today as well (expires on January 3). Nice for me, since the truck that I ordered back in February is scheduled to be delivered to the dealer this weekend, and I should be able to take advantage of it. Happy coincidence for me!

I had dug through the Ford website back in the January/February timeframe and asked for information on a variety of vehicles (F150, Ranger, Maverick, etc.). A month or so after that, I received a PCO email, but it expired unused on 7/4, since my order still hadn't been built at that point. So I went through the process a second time back in August, hoping that I might trigger another round of PCOs that could be useable when I actually have a truck to buy. It worked.

I don't generally visit dealer websites, so that wasn't what triggered it for me--I'm 100% sure that it was triggered by requesting information from the Ford website. Since it just takes a month or so to get through the system, you have to be strategic about when you request the information so that you get the offer within the window for when your order is built and shipped (it's a moving target, I know). I might suggest asking about information on F150s right around the time that you get a VIN...or maybe wait until you have a blend date. My blend date was on 8/9/22, and truck was finally shipped this week, so the timing worked out in my case.

This. Ordered back in January. Just found out this afternoon that it got delivered to the dealer. Got the $2k PCO a few days ago. Will be slapping that on the finance guy's desk haha.

I just browsed all of those and every dealership in Austin, nothing. I must be doing it wrong. LOL

Yea, I'm not sure what triggers it. I've been browsing a lot the past few months. Sometimes they pop-up sometimes they don't.

You could try clearing your browsing history that may help, may not. *shrug*

I am on the Ford site all the time looking for inventory and building a 2022 f150 using their builder for the past few months. I have NEVER seen such an offer.

Going on the website by itself doesn't seem to trigger it--you have to get to one of the screens where it asks you to input your email address to receive further information. (I don't remember which one it was...perhaps it was to have a dealer send you quotes, or to get more information about financing, or something like that?)

They sent me whatever information I asked for fairly quickly. Then I do nothing with that information, except wait. I get a PCO offer via email roughly 6-8 weeks after the information request.

Also, I understand that the PCOs are region-specific, so people in Texas may get more or less PCOs than people like me. Since you're also from Virginia, I expect that you are in the same region that I am, and should be eligible for the same offers.

Yes - I have been on a lot of dealer sites and never seen a pop up. Likewise, I have given my email for many quotes, and never received anything via email. ?‍

its not out of question you could get a model specific PCO...buts its highly unlikely
just like x plan is no go for raptor, some mustangs and lighting's and black label navigators and aviators
although black label dealers have a huge margin for discounts at their disposal

I went and searched inventory this morning around here, NOT one 22 except base models xlt, i think one was an xl and it only had a driver seat .... ? like they did the vans back in the day
