Failed and I don’t know why ?
Ford tried on June 6th to update mine via OTA and it failed. They still haven't retried even though it says will retry at next schedule which would have been 24 hrs later. I also don't know why it failed. It would be nice to know why, low battery, poor wifi, bug in system .

I went through the process from the first post in Sync4, but I do not have the menu options under "settings" to address "updates." I read through a few pages of this thread to see if anyone else has the same issue, no bueno. Let me know if I'm doing it wrong, else I'll RTFM.

This is pissing me off. Per my prior post, my truck just stopped updating. I keep getting messages on FordPass that say I'm scheduled for an update, then it doesn't happen, and then I get another FordPass message saying I'm scheduled again for the next day and so on. But it never happens. I must have 10 of those messages. It used to work find but now it stopped. All the settings are correct and haven't been changed since it used to update. Anyone else have this?

Which update are you on? I am stuck on 2.81 because my battery does not have enough capacity. 2.81 is a very large update (145 minutes). I am currently charging my battery to try again.

Hi there, Neal! This doesn’t sound like the experience we want you to be having with your F-150. Please go ahead and send a private message to us with your VIN and dealership information. I’d be happy to look into this for you. Thank you!
I’ve had my rig in three times now and the last was for the specific 22B08, my dealership said they still couldn’t get it done and I’m SOL until an engineer from ford calls them back on their official ticket. Can I send in a PM too? My updates have been frozen since September and my view resets every time I get into the truck.

The last update was 22SS17, trailer not recognized, on May 18.

Took my 2021 Plat home end of July 2021 and never had a OTA update till yesterday's 22SS17, even though it's set to automatic.

I held off so long, but it has to be said. The only way to not miss an OTA update is to get a Tesla.

I had 22B08 performed on 5/26 and was finally able to see my SYNC, Software version, 20312_PRODUCT Revision: 243. Around 6/5 the truck downloaded 5MB of data. That seemed like the size of an update but there was no software version or revision number change. I feel like I've missed an OTA update, which, after following all Ford's steps in their post, I shouldn't miss. I don't have BlueCruise so maybe I have the latest version, I don't know. Is there anybody who doesn't have BlueCruise and was on 20312_PRODUCT Revision: 243 but now has a different version?

My truck doesn’t even tell me what version I’m on anymore, if you go to the About Sync screen, all the versions are just blank, doesn’t show anything after the “:”.
Bought my truck new almost exactly a year ago and got one OTA in July or August and never again after that.
Just got back from picking it up from the dealer to do an oil change and all the recalls and satisfaction programs, one of which is for not getting OTAs. Can’t tell if it did anything because all the versions are still blank and checking for updates still tells me it’s up to date, as it always has since that one update I received.

Sorry if this has been covered but does the truck need to be connected to Wi-Fi to update?
