Been getting this notification every time I set the cruse control. I’m on update 2.8.1. Does anyone els get this pop up? Still normal adaptive cruse control no blue cruse yet.

I get the same as I just updated to 2.8.1. You need one more update to 2.8.2 to fully enable BlueCruise. I'm still waiting for mine.

2.8.2! Job 1 truck ordered Nov '20, paid for and delivered Feb '21. Finally got BC activated. To be honest the hold up for me was never bad APIM, low battery, dealer can't figure it out, bad WIFI, bad cellular, etc. I got everything OTA. The only thing holding things back was you, Ford, not sending it out to me.

Got 2.8.2 update today. Finally have BlueCruise. Works really well.

Got my update also. Headed to work on I65 here in Indiana (which is where I took the picture of the alert from my previous post) and Blue Cruse started working right away.

Somehow managed to get two OTAs in one week - 2.6 then 2.7.1. Didn’t do anything different so I suspect it was just time. It’s a job 1 built in Dec ‘20 w/ no BC. BTW I really dislike how vague the update information is. I really want to know specifics as to what changed, mostly out of curiosity.

Looking on Ford Power-Up Version History - Wikipedia it looks like 2.7.1 just fixes the horn/light feature on Ford Pass. But, it is an update.....

i got those a few weeks back. same thing. 2.6 and then 2.7.1 4 days later. now nothing in weeks. still not technically up to date like a lot of the higher trim guys. job 1 21, 302a here.

Honestly, the only sure fire way of knowing what module updates may or may not be destined for your truck via OTA is to look your VIN up in FDRS.
Any update of any kind available for your truck will be listed as available through FDRS, regardless of whether that update(s) is destined for OTA delivery.

I'd be happy to look your truck up in FDRS for you if you pm me your VIN. (when I get home today to my FDRS machine)

I saw that too.. that one is at least has specific details. As a software guy I just come to expect it.
