Curious if you’ve found the f150 glass to be weaker than other vehicles. I’m 3 weeks and 9 miles into ownership and have bad two chips - one has spread to a 3’ crack. Curious about everyone else’s experience?
I had my first replacement at 5 months when I had a relatively small rock put a 1" spider in front of the steering wheel. The new one already has 3 good sized chips in it. Factory glass replacement.

3 years - 1 windshield two months ago. a truck kicked up a rock (or something else) and hit just above camera and took a piece glass out. Crack ran from top to bottom in about a week with all of the heat in FL. 88k miles.
20 months/19,500 miles -- one star chip at about 6 months (repaired and barely visible now).
Have lost a lot of windshields over the past few years. I think the glass is thinner/lighter, but I also think that in recent years, more cars/trucks are running tires with more aggressive tread patterns, which means they are more likely to pick up and throw (larger) rocks.
