Good to know. I'm debating on removing my heated steering wheel and clockspring before trading on a 2024 or just buy all new parts.

I just bought @JScaro harness and Clock spring/SCCM from Fairway Ford. I have a 24' XLT 302A.... We gonna find out.

I added tow mirrors using 21-23 Forscan info. So far I haven't seen any differences. Dealership is pretty confident. Should have harness on Friday and clock spring/SCCM on Saturday.

I am looking at getting this upgrade done on my '22 501A. Only thing I'm stuck on is getting the right SCCM. I have the manual adjust wheel and all the pictures for the ML3Z-3F791-BB show having the buttons for the electric steering wheel adjust. Anyone have a part number for the SCCM that will work on my truck? Maybe it's just the pic, or maybe I need to find a SCCM for a 302a?

That's the right part, just take out the electric button part and you'll be fine.

Only piece left is the terminal connector going the BCM connector in the footwell. Looks like WT-1009 is discontinued.

I didn't even know this existed! I was just searching to buy the SCCM. Looks like my truck is getting a free and easy upgrade!! I'll be selling my heated steering wheel that I bought back in March, for a 2023 Lariat. Once I get the mod, I'll post it for sale.

That recall only applied to a very select few trucks. I mainly posted it for the parts list and procedure. Doesn’t hurt to ask your dealer though.

Gotcha. My truck is Dec 2023, right in the limits. I have an appointment there Friday anyways so this works out perfectly.

Seems like I am going to need a new SCCM correct? It’s crazy how much they went up in price. Tomorrow I am pulling the covers to check the paddle shifter wires. Any place that sells the SCCM cheap? Auto wiper and electric column.

SCCM secured for $75 from my local dealer!!! Blessed. Ordered the regular wheel with my ford points as well. Now just to find a cheap HVAC module.

Yeah I paid $114 CAD this summer and now it's over $300....madness. at least you have the wiring harness

After what seemed like a successful swap 2 weeks ago I seem to have ran into a problem. My rain sensing wipers arent working as they should and my courtesy wipe no longer works. I enabled them in the screen under features but nothing. Checked Forscan data and everything looks fine.

Fixed by enabling it in guest profile... so oddd
