Awesome thank you. Maybe if I get one it’ll be a bit better than my current wheel is at heating up!Yup, what's circled in green is the HSW connector.

Gosh this is tempting as I kinda want to upgrade to the heated raptor wheel with paddles since it should just be plug and play on my 502a. I just cant justify the cost for getting only some paddles out of it quite yet! Thanks all for the details. I'm the OP of this long forgotten thread and I'm updating the first thread as much as I can.
I wanted to do the retrofit myself but can't seem to find the HSW itself at a reasonable price right now. Everywhere I looked is around $500 new. The only cheap ones on ebay are with active steering, which I'd assume won't fit at all since it looks totally different under the airbag.
I'll keep looking and if anyone find a place for $200 please shoot me a DM. Thanks
Depends on the trim of your truck.Do you know what it takes to make the shifting paddles work on a non-raptor?
FWIW, at least on my '23 when I checked the wiring for my upgrade, my 502 is NOT wired for paddle shifters but was wired for heat. It was kind of a bummer as I was leaning towards the Raptor wheel but ended up being enough to convince me to save the $200.Depends on the trim of your truck.
Some people have had to add three wires that tap into the signal wires from your +/- on your shifter and some are prewired for it.
I believe (and this may not be a universal rule, just something I’ve gleaned from reading) that the 502 lariats and higher are prewired and lower trims require tapping.
Here's a great thread on it: https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/conversion-to-paddle-shifters-is-it-possible.11432/
I’m reading all this, seems like a lot!Added the heated wheel to my 2023 F150 Powerboost XLT.
The truck needed the heated wheel, SCCM and the new bolt. I took off the power telescope off the SCCM, not needed. My truck was PREWIRED as an xlt. The harness was in the dummy plug on the back of my original SCCM and already ran to PIN 15 in the respective harness. My forscan changes are below, this added the soft button to the climate bar. Everything works. I just need to see if it works with auto climate on remote start when it gets colder out. Thanks to Livnitup and JMoney17$ for their help as well as the others on this forum!
APIM 7D0-02-03 xxxx xxx1 xx--
APIM 7D0-02-02 xxx2 xxxx xx--
APIM 7D0-02-01 xxxx 5xxx xx--
After changing these values go into the wrench icon in FORScan and reset the APIM. This should add a climate bar on your screen with the HSW button.

If it had the switch for the power tilt then power tilt should work. In this case, I would question the as-builts before I questioned the part numberThanks for the info on this!
I am currently adding a heated wheel to a 23 King Ranch. My buddy at a dealer is doing the install and he cannot get the tilt wheel to work. I am wondering if its the wrong SCCM but I cant verify it. He said it has the switch for the power tilt. Here is the part he used.
Truck has blue cruise, auto wipers, power tilt

Is this the wrong the part number?
Edit this is my bosses truck, I just had the bright idea to help him out lol
Thanks for the response. I will get it back today and hook it up to Forscan. Any thoughts on where to look or what module? I want to verify they made the correct changes anyway, but the way these newer trucks run I have no idea what module affects the tilt lol. I did save all the original As BuiltIf it had the switch for the power tilt then power tilt should work. In this case, I would question the as-builts before I questioned the part number
I believe the tilt is tied to the SCCM and DSM. However, if changes were made to SCCM only and now the tilt doesn’t work, then your answer should be in the SCCM.Thanks for the response. The “easiest” way to add the HSW is to replace the SCCM, then reload the factory as builts, and THEN make the changes to activate the HSW.
