Has anyone used this transfer switch with their PowerBoost?

Sorry, I know this subject has been beat to death on the forums, but I am wondering if anyone has used the product linked below? If it is compatible with PB, seems like a pretty seamless integration. A tad on the expensive side, but when you factor in that you can self install it as opposed to having an electrician install a generac transfer switch?

The meter pan belongs to your utility company. You probably need their permission first.

Why spend $1100 for something your power company might not approve of when a $150 transfer switch wired into your panel will do?

The basic transfer switch can be a diy project if you have basic skills.

I spent $400 for the Generac and paid an A+ BBB rated licensed electrician to install it for $700. That = $1100.

I have one..and use portable generator
Don't buy it at Amazon, before you call generlink, people and your utility company
The reason... there is a crap load of electricity providers thst will not allow its installation. Local codes etc
Generlink will have the list of authorized utilities that allow it

Much better and easier to install a generator outlet next to your distribution panel with a generator interlock switch for safety.

I understand, but it's a safe, effective means for connecting up for the PPOB of the lightning and powerboost.
