Getting a vehicle like this here in Germany is almost impossible. Delivery, taxes, etc. are so expensive. For me it was a matter of luck. I got it new. I look forward to sharing experiences with you. My F150 came to Germany as an EU import. It was apparently produced in Mexico. A LOBO. Can someone from the country where the F150 is made explain to me what this means? Here in Germany, everyone seems to be overwhelmed. It's also strange that my center console doesn't turn around and fold into a table, even though it's a Platinum. I was told that this has something to do with production in Mexico. You Americans are the professionals, maybe you can explain this to me. And whether this console can be exchanged for the rotating one. Best wishes for the night.

Mine is a 2022 so I may have missed something for later year models.

I have not seen an OEM with the work surface (fold flat) that rotates. The only ones I have seen require you to push the button to fold the shifter (antiquated technology) down into its cubby and then flip the console lid over to form a large flat work surface or eating table. It is stationary though and does not rotate. Perhaps it was some 3rd party add on.

LOBO is the F150 in MX -- it's a branding thing.

So you have a 6 seat platinum or a 5 seat (aka console). If you do have a console 5 seat truck, you just need the lid assembly that opens up.

This is the install vid for a 5 seat. Platinums in the US/CA are only available with 5 seat / consoles



If you somehow have a 6 seat platinum which I've never seen, you need to find this which I assume will be a bit more difficult. Your best bet if that is the case it to try and have whoever you buy it from to ship just the upper part of the seat and keep the bottom portion. This thread starter has this part unless he's tried to sell it which I haven't seen pop up in the for-sale section.

I just tried to look up the work surface that rotates and there is limited information on it. However it looks like it is part of the console you get if you have a 3 seater bench seat for a regular cab or maybe a work truck with a bench. The only info I found on it looked a little "cheap" but it does seem to geared towards the work truck and not the higher levels.

hey, thank you very much for all the information. It's really cool that you're getting in touch. As far as the F 150 goes, there are very few here in Germany. So I'm very grateful to all of you. So Lobo comes from Mexico. Does that also mean that the quality is different? As far as the console goes, I must have been wrong. I think I meant the one that you just fold down to make a work table. I have a 5-seater. It's really cool when you see how many of these cars are driving around. There's nothing here when it comes to models like that. Especially when it comes to the Lightning. It's supposed to cost around 130,000 euros here. What are the prices like there? Regards Rico

I think what the @OP means is that the shifter does not fold down, unless I misunderstood.

Yes, with a trick like this you get watched and scanned. Usually rather skeptical. I often think that people think I'm also an environmental sinner just because I drive a car like this. But it's an ECO Boost 3.5. A modern engine. At the moment I've got it at around 10.2 l. I think that's OK for a car like this. Incidentally, there's the so-called European version of the F150. The Ford Ranger as a little brother. But this has nothing to do with the big big one.

Welcome…..have spent a good bit of time in Germany. I’m retired Air Force so many trips to the Frankfurt area. A lot of fond memories. Beer and food mostly……
