I have a '23 XLT with the 360 camera package. I'd like to replace the front emblem with the BAP emblem, and noticed I don't have the front camera washer. Was this removed on '23 and up models? I don't want a hole where the washer provision is so not too sure what to do.

DAMN!

I can't believe all the stuff they're "deleting” from the new models.

It’s almost like I time warped into the future and bought a truck.

I’ve found that when my Auto-High Beams start acting wonky, hitting my washers straightens it out. (Could be a coincidence)

I’m glad I checked all the boxes when I ordered my 2021. The NINE MONTH WAIT for “chips” was very painful but I guess it was worth it!

Shhhh… don’t tell Ford I said that.

Not to bring your post down, but I’m feeling very lucky to have gotten a ‘21 with almost every options and leadfoot.
Must be nice haha! Yeah not getting options like heated steering wheel and heated mirrors "due to supply chain issues" sucks but this washer is icing on the cake. The cool thing for '23 is a custom "75 years of F150" start up screen and 75 years of F150 on the top of the windshield.

That would be a strange omission. Wonder what package that would be a part of then. May be worth seeing if they put on the wrong emblem and you do have it.

Just gave away my order for a 23 powerboost that was misordered and bought the same truck minus the powerboost in a 21 that saved me 20k.
Looking over all the options that were deleted or now cost extra and not standard I'm thinking i made the right decision. I was not looking forward to trying to add the heated steering wheel.

Just checked mine (23 502A) and it is missing. Not overly concerned as I never used it on my superduty trucks but seems kind of sneeky as I never saw it mentioned anywhere that it was being removed.

i use mine a bit , but this seems like a load of crap to remove it. my camera in front gets dirty
and i too have found that when lane centering and high beam gets wonky to clean the windshield with spray and wipers and it fixes it.
and as a OH BY THE WAY 2023 superduty king ranch and below are NO BUENO for multi contour seats, only plat and limited can get them, and they are not automatic, you have to select the option.
i wouldnt get a 150 or super duty with the multi contour, they make those long drives that much nicer.

The upper camera would be used for this, with its better view of the road. Also, if this feature is still in use, but they're deleting the things that would keep the front camera clean, that also points to the source for the function.

I never saw it mentioned anywhere that it was being removed.
You also never saw it listed that it was included. Just like ambient cupholders and temp dials; if they don't explicitly state it's included, they don't have to say it's being removed.

I agree that it would have a better view of the road and always assumed that the upper camera would be used for that.

But "would be" and "IS" are two very different statements. Do you know for a fact that it “IS”?

I don’t really care one way or the other, I’m left wondering by your choice of wording…

yes the upper windshield camera is for lane centering and AEB along with the ACC sensor
the front cam comes on at low speeds, i use it almost everytime i park under the carport, but i suspect its watching more than we know, it would not make sense for the computers not to have its data used in some fashion. but i could be wrong
