But "would be" and "IS" are two very different statements. Do you know for a fact that it “IS”?
I do not have documentation that this is the case. I would add as additional evidence that Auto-High Beams is featured on trucks that don't have a grille camera, down to the XL.

personally i would prefer not to have it on my truck. sometimes the freaking fluid dries up and makes my front camera messy than it was before.

Wow, that sucks. If anything, they should consider adding the washer to rear camera too. Oh and add a heating element to the sensors in the bumpers.

I thought I'd miss it, I was actually a little annoyed it wasn't there... then I realized the washer fluid sprayer has broken on every Explorer I've ever driven so I'm fine with not having it.

My 2023 701A doesn't have the emblem camera washer either. Not the end of the world. I'll just knock the ice off it before I get in.

OK, I have to ask for clarity. Have you all either turned on your front camera and held the washer lever to see if the washer nozzle pops out and washes the camera? If you don't have a front camera, have you held the washer lever to see if washer fluid is now on your front emblem or bumper? Better yet, have someone watch while you hold the washer on.

There is not a visible nozzle present on these trucks, it pops out under the pressure of the fluid being activated.

If you all are aware, I apologize for my statement.

Like mentioned earlier, The camera by the rear view mirror is the one for Lane keep, Auto Highbeam etc. The Camera in the front Grille is just "Parking Assistance".

I understand what you're saying. I initially looked when my front camera got ice on it. I tried the washer button while watching the screen expecting to see fluid on the lens. ......nothing. I assumed ice had blocked the little sprayer nozzle from coming out so I went and got a good look at it....no recessed nozzle. I had seen pictures online so I was sure what I was looking for.A pitcher of warm water to wash off the ice....no washer nozzle appeared. No seams..the only thing going to the back of the emblem is the cable for the camera.

Yeah, sounds like you do not have it. You can plainly see the little square on the right and to the bottom of the camera.

It is only available on “Active Park Assist” equipped vehicles. It is still a 2023 model year option but only if you have park assist.

After extensive research with my dealer... I have come to the (obvious) conclusion that Ford is allocating a certain number of chips for each build.

"If you want THIS feature, it's going to require THIS number of chips. SO you CAN'T have THAT feature.
But if you want THAT feature, we can do it but now you have to give up THIS feature."

It STILL after all this time, all about the chips!

That may be true for 2023 but not for prior years. I do not have "Active Park Assist" on my 2022 500A, only "Co-Pilot 360 Assist 2.0", but I definitely do have the front cam washer.

Did I know about it when I bought the truck? No.

Am I glad I have it? Yes, Very.

Now that I know about it would I be pissed if it were removed? You bet.
