[ EDIT] "This only pertains to those looking to purchase a license. A two month free trial is still available. This is renewable on expiration

For those looking to purchase a FORscan license right now, you will not be able to due to banking issues between the US and Russia. Hopefully this issue will be resolved soon. But in the meantime make sure you have a valid license before beginning any modifications to your truck.

Please see there statement below.

Why is any of this reliant upon foreign payment processing for FORScan? Missing something here....

Is that Falco?

I also lost a good number of DOPEs in Strelok due to Russian app sanctions. Really sticking it to Putin, aren't we? /s

Forscan is a Russia based business entity. That was pointed out back in post #8.
I understand that and thanks for pointing it out! I just think the software that can modify the computers on a number one selling American truck shouldn't be produced and maintained out of a country like Russia.

Why can't this Forscan be created and maintained in the US?
Noting that the first public beta of FORScan was released on September 2, 2011, you can't change history.

I'm sure that some hacker or team of hackers / developers with wherewithal, dedication, and motivation could steal the code or start from scratch to create and maintain a clone or copy of the software in the US. Why would that make any difference?

You can't stop a developer in any location from doing what they are motivated to do.

As with developers in any nation, including the US, there's not necessarily any reason to suspect that the developer subscribes to, or supports the ideologies, policies, or politics of that nation's government. Or, to believe that those individuals don't hold or support even more corrupt ideologies. You just don't ever really know.

If your 'principles' tell you that you should not use FORScan, then for heaven's sake, just don't use it!
