Ford power up 6.1.0

Been trying to get updates for months. Now all of a sudden I get something. I did swap out both batteries last month

Recently got a mongoose cable to force updates but haven’t don’t it yet.

Is this a brand new update or old?

That's an old one. It was first reported on the forums in October of 2023.

Just got 6.1.0 tonight also in a '21 XLT. I bought the truck in July and this is the first update I've gotten. Like many, I was stuck on 23159 before. Hopefully this opens the floodgates - I'd really like my camera button to start working.

Just got it too! First OTA update in over a year. I had just updated everything I could a month or so ago with FDRS and a mongoose, but didn’t have any APIM update available. Those updates got my camera button working again. Haven’t been in the truck yet to see if anything is different.

Just purchased a 2021 PB, mine says its on 6.1.0 as well, FordPass says updated on the 3rd.

Just got that update this morning. 21 Lariat. Last update 4.3.6 was in 9/2024.

Finally got it on the 2nd after 3 months of waiting. Is it worth it to spend the money on FDRS license to get fully up to date now after being stuck on 20312 and 23159 for years/months? @rugedraw

Due to a possible issue with the current ipma update, I'd hold off a bit.

I checked for updates when I was pulling into the garage tonight and now my truck says it's downloading 6.2.0. 2 updates in 6 days for me after a long drought.

Maybe Ford is finally getting us caught up on updates. I’ve not seen 6.2 yet since 6.1.
