I know that it is very early in the game, but so far, I am sorry to say that I am not sharing your joy, @Porpoise Hork .
My procedure:
- In FORScan, increased charging to 98% SOC.
- Disconnected negative cable; removed old OEM BCM.
- Put battery on charger, brought up to 100% SOC.
- Installed new replacement BCM, dated 10/26/23.
- Reset the BCM.
- Let truck sit for ~15 hours.
- Got in truck, turned on (not start), and checked SOC: 86%.
- Left on charger/maintainer for another 2 days.
- Disconnected from charger, checked SOC: dropped to 85%.
- Started truck, took on a short 30 mile drive, stopping one and shutting truck down for about 10 minutes. SOC dropped to 82%.
- SOC has been at 82% ever since. It is currently back on the charger/maintainer.
Ever since I started monitoring the SOC through PIDs, the aforementioned 86% is the highest SOC I have seen.
