Did you do the shock install yourself or at a shop? If a shop, how much $$ (if you don't mind). Thinking I will make this change on my '25 Lariat too.
I have my own shop, took roughly 15 minutes to do both. Dont need to remove wheels or jack it up.

its a f150...aka a sedan with a bed. 5100's are the best for da money

OEM shocks are way to soft on these trucks. The trucks with 20 in rims are not as bad since they have a lower profile tire with a stiffer sidewall.

Anything other than stock is going to be a huge improvement. I personally went with Eibach coilovers in the front and their non-reservoir shocks in the rear. I'm 100% satisfied with how the truck handles compared to stock. I would personally stay clear of the foxes, I think they're on the softer side and there have been a lot of people who have had issues with them over the years.

Bilstein has been around for decades and make a great product. I had a set of their 5100s on my previous F-150 and personally thought it rode a touch on the stiffer side. When I had a trailer behind me the ride was absolutely perfect. The Eibach are slightly softer compared to the Bilsteins for my liking they are perfect.

Swap the rears first with a shock of your liking, and then in the future by the fronts to match.

I ran the OEM Pirellis at 32psi. Mostly because of how the tire was shaped. When you looked at it you could see that it was a domed tire, So the contact patch was smaller. The replacements I have on it are flat across the contact patch so I run them at 35 psi cold and provide a decent ride.
Soft, non LT tires have flexible side walls. Those as well as low to moderate pressure adds to the porpoising handling issues.
Under inflated tires, like 32 psi makes that even worse.
I tried to run 35 cold for quite a while and that just didn’t work, I have compromised to 40, it works well for me here

True. They put tires with soft compounds and flexible sidewalls on cars/trucks to make them seem like they have a much smoother ride than they actually should have. This is why most OE tires wear out in about 25K miles and after markets ride much different and generally last 40-60K miles even for the cheap ones.

The mono leaf in my 25 is much bouncier than the multi leaf pack in my old 22. Is what it is really.

Its bouncy because the shocks are garbage.

Same part number shocks as were on my 22. Just checked the parts catalog out of curiosity. Even the same Goodyear tires as were on the 22. The steel leaf pack rode better without a doubt.

While I don't necessarily disagree the shocks could be better, there's a tradeoff with unladen handling of an aluminum body truck and what it has to do when loaded down. Rob Peter to pay Paul and such.

The 20 in tires are noticeably better than the 18's for handling. I've had both but I think the shocks are still a weak point no matter what wheels you have. The guys who have put sway bars on say it literally transforms the truck, so I keep thinking about doing that too.

2025 XLT Crew Cab 4x4 with 2.7 Ecoboost
So my truck currently has 650 miles on it and i have been noticing that during highway speeds the ride tends to be "floaty" when going over certain bumps on the road. My truck is a 4x4 XLT crew cab and has the 275/65/18 Goodyear Territory AT Tires set at 35PSI.

i have been doing some research and have noticed that some people have addressed this issue by either upgrading all 4 shock absorbers to the likes of bilstein 5100/4600 or fox 2.0. i have also read that some people have removed the blocks in the rear and have also upgraded just the rear shock absorbers.

Please note that this is my daily driver and i do not tow anything. the bed for the most part stays relative empty.

With that said, what would be the most economical way to address this?
UPDATE! as of yesterday, i installed the 5100s in the rear and that has made a big difference so far! it is concerning how soft the oem shocks are as opposed to the 5100s. The truck definitely feels more planted and a big percentage of the swaying and floaty feeling has been reduced.

the truck definitely needs the front suspension to be upgraded as well in order to 100% address the suspension issue.

Thank you all for your knowledge and your feedback.

Buying more stuff for this truck
I just installed a 2.5 puck kit on my 2025 PowerBoost. It leveled the truck right up and it became a lot firmer ride. I wouldn't say harsh, but definitely firmer than stock. It seems to have stopped a lot of the porpoising. I am a little worried about putting on the BFG K03s now. It may become harsh as opposed to firm.

Bilstein 5100 shocks in the rear certainly transform the truck

I had a rear sway bar, but recently removed it. Need to change brackets out slightly for some different end links I got for the sway bar.
