im in the south florida area. has anybody here used any shops for their lifts/levels that doesnt charge an arm and a leg for labor. I am getting quotes of about $500 to do simple bilstein 5100 swap with alignment.
Best and cheapest upgrade that u can do yourself in less than 1 hour with handtools. i hated the floaty feeling of the truck and this upgrade improved it by about 90%. i will do the fronts next.
UPDATE! as of yesterday, i installed the 5100s in the rear and that has made a big difference so far! it is concerning how soft the oem shocks are as opposed to the 5100s. The truck definitely feels more planted and a big percentage of the swaying and floaty feeling has been reduced.

This is very interesting considering you have the powerboost which i believe is heavier than the other engine options.
Considering this information, i believe the best option for the 2.7 ecoboost engine would be to set it at the second notch to potentially achieve more or less of a 2 inch lift...
As ive been doing research i noticed that users are achieving higher lift numbers than the ones advertised with Bilstein. If you can, could you please share your numbers when set at the 1.5 setting. I believe this would help people make a more educated decision when purchasing and installing...
