We just picked up our 2023 Heritage FX4 last week. We are looking to upgrade the tires to A/T’s. Want to go a bit bigger. Will P285/60r20 or P275/65r20 work on the stock rims with no lift or level? Any help we can get will be appreciated. Thanks.

The 285/60r20 will defiantly fit on stock wheels with no leveling kit. The 275/65r20 might fit but would defiantly work with leveling kit .

I'm not usually a fan of the Heritage trucks due to some of the odd color combos...but yours looks great! Especially with those tires.

Here is my 23 Platinum with 285/65 R20 on stock BAP wheels. No level, no other mods, completely stock. Doing research I found out this is the absolute biggest size you can get without any rubbing on 0 suspension mods and trimming. I have Nitto Recon Grapplers own here and they're quiet, smooth for the most part compared to BFG, and still perform well off road.

Love the BAP platty tailgate! Recon grapplers are in my truck’s future too. Awesome truck.

Yeah honestly I would recommend these tires to 90% of people since most truck are on the road anyways, you don't need BFG KM3 for road use lol, it'll definitely make your truck pop.

Mine has some very light rubbing with full lock, it hits the wheel well liners ever so slightly and only when completely backing into a spot. Could imagine how much worse it would be with upsizing

**Edit: I did drill a small hole in the bottom of the wheel well liner and used a zip tie to pin it back. It still rubs, but must be doing on the inside and not the outside. I tow my travel trailer, so I don't want to raise the front. So guess I'll just live with this. But a word to the wise for anyone looking to get the same size ko2 (for me it was lt275/60/r20) when replacing stock, there may be rubbing without any front lift. I also am having a hell of a time getting these balanced. Will have to take it to a place with a road force balancer (mainly the dealers around me have them), so when I go in for the e-brake recall, I'll have them balance all 4 to avoid shimmy at highway speeds.
did the road force balance fix your shimmy? I have had mine regular balanced At two different places and they still vibrate wicked at 70MPH

It did and they found the root cause. I had the tires delivered via tirerack to the local Mavis. And wouldn’t you know it, they had water inside a few of the tires (it was a week of rain when the tires were delivered). So next time I will get it delivered to my house and load them up and take to the tire place.

wow that’s crazy

I had my tires from a place like tire rack installed at my ford dealer and then went back because of a steering wheel shake. They only road force balanced the front wheels and so I’m guessing my rear tires need it done too because the whole truck shakes now on the highway

not sure why places can’t do it right in the first place I’ve already been back twice to the dealer!

I think I've read all 60 pages and can't quite find what I need. On my past two trucks, I've usually run stock 20s with 295/60r20 and a 2" leveling kit. I Just got a 23 Platinum with powerboost, fx4, and max tow. Curious how much the powerboost and max tow will affect fitting the same setup on the new truck. Already got a 2.3" offset leveling kit but need a little help with tire size.

I went with 275/70r18 Geolandars on a 1.5 autosprings level. I've got the 5.0 3.73 gears. Pretty conservative as this is my first truck. Most likely will bump up to 285 or 295 for my next set. All of your trucks look awesome!
