Factory Wheels with Aftermarket Tire Thread

Firestone destination XT 275/70 R18. Tires ride nice but definitely a little stiffer and a little noisier than the stockies but not over the top in any way and still provides a very comfortable ride. Also has the 2021+ rough country 2 inch level that I’m also pleased with. For the fire/gravel roads that will be driven the coil over kits would be nice but most likely not necessary especially for 400$ installed its 100% better than what a coil over would cost when 80-90% of driving will be on road.

Old post I know but I found this with the search function! I'm considering these tires in the same size due to their light weight and mostly positive reviews. Can you give a general update on them? I'm especially interested to know how the noise is and any overall mpg drop since you've had them a while.

I have loooked and looked and looked but can’t find an answer. Went to the fitment guide online and didn’t help me understand at all. That said

I have a 2023 f150 supercrew I bought yesterday and came across some 275/70 r18 coopers for really discounted. Wanted to verify they would fit without a leveling kit on the stock 18x8.5 rims with +44 offset. Or at least fit until I install a leveling kit.

Discount Tire:
Thank you. The 295 (34.3 Inch Tire) is the only way to go if you are running the Fox Suspension. It brings the proportions all together. I would recommend Discount tire too. Have used you all many times for tires.

Veterans/Active Duty:
The best service for veterans is on base or through AAFES/SimpleTire. I paid 330 a tire and Zero tax. I got these for 1350 plus local installer. Everywhere else I was looking at 1650-1800 installed.

Hey all. I've got a 2023 SCREW STX with the Roush 2.0 level kit. Kinda looks dumb with the factory tires IMO. Will 295/60 R20 BFG T/A KOs fit without trimming or rubbing? Also, I have the 3.5 Ecoboost, should I expect much of a power loss?

I'm looking at different sizes and weight. Don't care about MPG, but don't want to lose performance with my 3.5 Ecoboost. I'm debating between Toyo Open Country R/T Trail 295/60/20 and Nitto Ridge Grapplers 295/60/20. Toyos are 62lbs and Nittos are 66lbs. Stock tires are 41 lbs, so will going with the 4lb lighter tires make much of a difference? I could always go with 285/60/20 Toyos, as they only 58lbs, but would RATHER have the larger size. Thoughts?

That’s 21-25 pounds more per corner for an additional 80-100 lbs. of additional unsprung weight; will definitely effect both mileage (which you don’t care about) and “performance”- but with that much low end torque you may not notice it as much.

I put 285/65/20 KO2s on my 3.5L EB. That is a touch taller (34.5") than the 295/60/20s (34"), but not as wide. The fuel economy took a hit (manageable) of about 1.5-2 mpg. I average about 17.5 mpg now in combined driving. Performance wise, it can do whatever it could before, it just feels a touch heavier. Nothing anyone who hasn't driven it before would notice. I have driven it this way for almost 2 years, but I remember the change. For me, it was no question. I don't run SL tires on my trucks. I do some light off road, moderate towing from time to time and live near many construction sites. I want 10 ply. Giving up that light airy feeling that comes with having tires that belong on a Nissan Armada is just fine by me.
