Yes, you should only need the second group of parts. See post #72 for additional information on installing these on a PowerBoost.

thanks. i will order the parts through my dealer, but they won't do the install since the parts is not for my specific model of F150. i'll just get it installed elsewhere.

takes less than 20 minutes to put on, if you can turn a wrench you can put it on
easy as falling off a log

its more bulky than heavy, i didnt weight mine, but it carried like it was maybe 20 -30 lbs but i bet thats still high
i looked on my ticket and the weight was not indicated

According to my bathroom scale, the skid plate (without the oil door) is 20lbs including the hardware.

This will be my first F150 and I'm a little concerned. If a squirrel on a path with a sharp stick can punch through a skid plate- it isn't a skid plate. Is it really made of fiber??? My daughter has a fusion with the fiber undercarriage, it deflects wind but that is it.

The factory FX4 "skid plate" will also prevent punctures from leaves, but that's about it. The material is likely similar, if not identical, to what is used on your daughter's Fusion.

Did you remove the cheap fiber cover (I think others mentioned this?) in order to install the steel cover? Did all the mounting holes fit?

I did get the oil drain cover. Take little cover off and drain plug is a top.

2022 XLT non-hybrid. It should fit fine.
