My F150 did not come with the fiber cover. Also the all the pre-drilled holes on the chassis did line up with the cover without any issues.

Just did this upgrade las week and the trick with the bucket was a great advice. Thanks to everyone on this forum and tread was able to buy the right parts and the install was smooth. Thanks

As you mentioned, ( wheel stud extensions) "They really are a game changer". I first used them on my friend C8 Corvette, the rear tires are super heavy and those things make things easier your back and the job. I bought a set to have that handy for my F150.
