yeeeeeowza....

just tried ordering from Ford parts Giant. they wanted $222 for shipping. abort abort abort!!!
I ordered through FordParts.com and they shipped to my local dealer for free. They also give you a $20 credit for registering with them. Additionally, if you select the option to pay at the dealership, you can use your FordPass rewards points also.

Just ordered one from parts.ford.com. Out the door price of $102.95 with free FedEx Shipping to Florida. $20 off plus free shipping...SWEET. Now I have to order the bolts and nuts etc. BTW: I used Lakeland Ford as my dealership.

As others have previously mentioned, the price seems to be dependant on the dealership that you select on FordParts.com. Make sure to try a few local dealerships to ensure that you are getting the best possible deal.

If you have the fiberboard cover you can reuse the two bolts and nuts from the rear and two of the 8mm head bolts for the front. You will need two nuts and bolts for the front frame attachment points.
If your truck did not come with the fiberboard cover you need four of the nuts and bolts for the frame and the two 8mm head bolts.
I just order the skid plate, but I want to make sure I get the correct bolts+nuts(part numbers). I have the FX4 fiber plate.
Which bolts and nuts are needed from the list below? I believe its the first two on the list below. Please let me know. Thanks!

@Cobraman428 You will need the part numbers below. Confirm with the vendor if they are sold individually or in packs of four. You will need two of each in addition to reusing some of your existing hardware.

Thats what I did too... used my 40,000+ points to buy parts. Supposedly if you can lose the points if the account is dormant for year?

Update: Skid Plate Installation Completed. 2021 Job2 PB. Took the fiberboard off and replaced it yesterday. Took about 1 hour. Below are my installation pics. The only real challenge was the coolant lines on the passenger side. Used a thin brass nut and put in on the upper front mounting bolt (as described from prior post). Had to remove the rear coolant mounting bracket also during installation. Mounted the skid plate rear bolts first and left them loose, then got the front bolts started so it would hold it up. Held the front coolant lines bracket out of the way with a bungee cord while I added the nut and got the bolt started. I bent the upper support mounting front arm just a little so I could get more clearance for the line so it would not rub on the bolt head. The drivers side was very easy, just added the nut and bolt. Took the truck for a test drive and the noise level change really didn't change (I heard some aftermarket skid plates make the truck exhaust louder inside the cab). Overall very happy with it. My total cost was around $130. Part was on sale, got $20 off new account and FedEx free shipping. I did this because I didn't want the catalytic converters stolen and now its a real skid plate to protect the truck in case I run over something in the road while towing my TT. I figure this "steel" skid plate should force the cat thieves to just move on to the next easier F150. FORD should have put this on the truck. FX4 package and fiberboard is a joke..

Wondering if anyone has given thought to spraying it with some spray on undercoating. Is it worth it ?
Would definitely help it's long term durability here in the Northeast. I shot mine with primer and paint prior to installing it. Rust will always win, but we can at least delay it.

The Tremor has a nice front skid plate, but I believe the one over the cats is the same fiberboard one that is used on the FX4's.
