Ah, so you guys have no interest in PHEV, etc. Yea, that's a lot less complicated.

Did a quick Grok trial:

Hypothetical Performance Snapshot

• Power: 524 hp, 625-700 lb-ft.
• 0-60: ~6-6.5 seconds (unloaded, 4WD).
• Towing: 21,000-24,000 lbs max.
• MPG: 16-20 mpg (unloaded), 10-12 mpg towing.
• Electric Range: 4-6 miles.
• Pro Power: 10-14 kW potential.

This Godzilla PowerBoost would bridge the gas-diesel gap—more torque than the stock 7.3L, better efficiency, and serious towing chops, without the diesel’s complexity or cost. It’d feel like a torquier, smoother 7.3L with a kick of electric snap, ideal for heavy haulers who don’t need 30,000 lbs of diesel pull. What do you think—does this align with your vision, or want to tweak something?

@Snakebitten ‘s truck with a “Super Duty” PowerBoost treatment. 70kW traction motor and 3kW HVB with larger DC/DC. Increase the PPoB to 12kW with 240/50 and sell them faster than you can build them.

Your welcome America ?
70kW needs about 4.5kWh just to maintain C rate and voltage. Given where we're at today needs to be at least 90kW just on general principal

If I could only have one or the other PBF150 vs PBSD, I'd go with whichever had the PB but all else equal, the same reasons that make me prefer the 150, (ride, length, mpg etc.) still exist.

None of my business but none of the camper's I've seen you show, require anything close to a 350.

Isn't the ride overly harsh? Or do you have plans for bigger needs?
The 31' RV isn't a true heavyweight, at ~8000#, but it's not a nice relaxed tow with my 157" KingRanch Powerboost. And it taxes the Payload capacity leaving no headroom.

You're right, the other 3 RV's are saweeeeet pulls for the light duty landyacht, but since I needed a second truck so I could take 2 RV's on the same trip, I decided to go Big-Bones for both the huge headroom with the 31'r, as well as the ability to potentially grab me a nice 5th wheel bunkhouse/toy hauler in the future.

And YES, the F350 rides like an empty U-Haul when it's empty. And just as difficult to navigate/park. ????

I have no intentions of it being a daily or errand truck once I get that first 1000 miles on it. I'm trying to get 2 oil changes, 500 miles each, before the first pull to Florida in a couple of weeks.

After discussing with an expert (@HammaMan), the young dreamer continued:

2025 Ford F-350 Godzilla PowerBoostMeet the ultimate hybrid workhorse: an F-350 Super Duty blending the raw grunt of the 7.3L Godzilla V8 with a beefy 90 kW (120 hp) electric traction motor. This full hybrid pumps out 550-570 horsepower and 700 lb-ft of torque, pairing the V8’s 430 hp and 475 lb-ft with electric assist for instant low-end pull. A 6 kWh lithium-ion battery—self-charged by the engine and regenerative braking—delivers up to 10 miles of electric-only range, no plug required.

Built for the job, it keeps the stock 34-gallon fuel tank, stretching range to 578-714 miles unloaded (17-21 mpg) and 374-442 miles towing (11-13 mpg)—a solid jump over the gas-only 476-612 miles. Towing capacity hits 23,000-25,000 lbs conventional and 25,000-27,000 lbs 5th wheel, while payload stays stout at 3,865 lbs (11,300 lbs GVWR) or 4,565 lbs (12,000 lbs GVWR), even with a full tank.

Borrowing tricks from the F-150 PowerBoost, it rocks a high-voltage AC compressor for efficient cooling, plus a 10-12 kW Pro Power Onboard system to power your 5th wheel off-grid. The 10-speed hybrid transmission keeps it smooth, and lightweight materials (like an optimized battery and cooling setup) limit the hybrid’s weight to a 435-lb add. Gas-and-go ready, it charges its battery in 12-18 minutes via the V8, no plug-in needed—though an optional charger’s there if you want it.

This F-350 PowerBoost is a gas-diesel bridge: torquey, efficient, and built to haul, all without sacrificing Super Duty DNA.

Only speaking for myself, I don’t want to have to plug in somewhere in order to “fully” charge, but I would like the option to plug in. Let’s say I’ve stopped somewhere and charging is available then I can take advantage of it. Flexibility is the key.

Stopping at the top of a mountain might leave me with a very different SOC than stopping at the bottom of the mountain.

Since I do have an HVB charger at home, I would love the ability to pre-charge before every morning leg of the days journey. But it depends on the size of the battery whether there's a measurable advantage for doing so.

The 1.5 KWH battery wouldn't warrant the effort or expense of an L2 EVSE.
Get up around 12-15 KWH and it just might render some very fuel efficient trips into the office. ?
