Extremely loud electrical POP followed by loud static

2022 Ford F150 Powerboost, I entered vehicle and as i pressed ingnition extremely loud electrical pop. I thought the windows were exploding. Then the radio would not play. Screen and carplay were on but no sound would come out. After lunch 1 hour later, everything seems to be working.

No, I earlier had the problem with running hot due to heat exchanger leaking; I had 600 miles and it was in the shop for over a month as parts were on backorder. At least I was driving a Dodge then with no problems

I have had the same issue going on with my 2022 Ford King Ranch since I got it. The service department cannot get it to replicate the sound, but it has happened 4 times in the past 11 months. It will scare the s&^t out of you when it happens. It is extremely embarrassing when you have passengers and it happens. I would love for someone from Ford to reach out to me to get this issue resolved.

There is a software update now that supposedly fixes this. Your dealer can do it.

SSM 51663 2021-2023 F-150/Expedition - Pop Noise And/Or Static In Speakers At Start Up

2021-2023 F-150/Expedition may exhibit a pop noise and/or static in the speakers at start up that cannot be turned down or off using the audio system controls. To correct the condition, reprogram the audio digital signal processing module (DSP) to the latest software level using the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) diagnostic scan tool. For claiming, use causal part 18B849 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.

No, the dealer cannot fix the issue. I even recorded the electrical static sound and gave to the dealer, but I got nothing from dealer. I am going to trade this vehicle as soon as I get a chance.

I had this happen to my truck 23 XL but i was on the phone and shut the truck off and the speakers popped and screen went dark with no static after
