Mine is still doing this. Dealer has not been able to repair; FMC does not seem concerned. I will go with different manufacturer for my next truck.

I brought the following to the dealer and this seems to have fixed it.

SSM 51663 2021-2023 F-150/Expedition - Pop Noise And/Or Static In Speakers At Start Up
2021-2023 F-150/Expedition may exhibit a pop noise and/or static in the speakers at start up that cannot be turned down or off using the audio system controls. To correct the condition, reprogram the audio digital signal processing module (DSP) to the latest software level using the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) diagnostic scan tool. For claiming, use causal part 18B849 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.

There is a software update now that supposedly fixes this. Your dealer can do it.

Thank you very much - I took this to the dealer and this seems to have solved the issue ( so far )

Hopefully. One member here did report it happening again after this update was applied.

Just had this happen yesterday on my 21 pb platinum. There was a couple extremely loud pops followed by very loud electrical sounds. It happened about 10 seconds after turning my vehicle on, before it happened the stereo seemed to not work. I have never experienced anything like this on another vehicle m, any tips, have any dealerships been able to help with this issue, not a great experience for my first ford

Good afternoon, Chris. Will you send us a private message with your VIN, mileage, and dealership info? I can look into your F-150’s noise concerns on my end.

Dealer can perform update that is supposed to fix that.
If you are out of warranty then you might look into FDRS as an option and DIY it. Post in the VIN lookup thread and someone can look into if your truck has updates that need to be done. Dealers do not get paid anything to do updates unless under very specific conditions. Your audio issue is one single module to update but there might be more.
