My dealer, Long Lewis Ford in Muscle Shoals Al would not. When he tried to sell it to me I mentioned Grainger. He pushed back from his desk and immediately got mad. Obviously he had heard of them! Said he did not know how they sold it at those prices and that he could not. I may buy through Grainger but I don’t like how the purchase shows up in Ford Pass as HVAC repair.
Mine wanted nearly double what Granger did. I even said if he can come close to their price, like within $100 I would give him the sale to keep it all local. He was receptive to that but took one look at the quote I had and said that is below his cost and he doesn't blame me for going with Granger.

I have no service history entries from Granger in Ford Pass.

I purchased my truck used. Because I was over 44K miles, I had to have my truck inspected. I had a Ford dealer inspect it. They found a few issues which was fixed under the power warranty. Once I had the signed off report, I took it and Ziegler Fords quote and met the finance manager. I asked him if he could price match, or even get within a few hundred bucks and waive the inspection fee. He looked at their price and said the best he could do was $600 above theirs. Thanks, bye. I tried.

I am in the process of buying a used F150 and it's just out of the bumper to bumper & powertrain warranty. It does come with a used Honda powertrain warranty that supposedly is honored by ford dealers (lubricated mechanical parts only, no electronics). The bumper to bumper extension of the warranty by 100K miles is about $4300. The truck has 27k miles on it so it's a low mileage truck for sure. What do you guys think? I am tending towards taking the risk myself...I plan to do my own maintenance. Plus then I can put that $$$ towards rock sliders, skid plates, and some bilsteins & 35" raptor takeoffs! Haha. How has the electronics and gizmos for your 3.5L engines and 10 speeds held up post-warranty?
Nope.

Go with the Ford ESP warranty, #1 choice Premium Care, #2 choice Extra Care if price is an issue.. Make sure the Dealer is selling a "FORD" warranty, some dealers are pushing aftermarket warranties.

When it was more of a buyer's market, I heard that some dealers would make more on selling extended warranties than the dealers would make on selling the truck. :)
Before I fully retired many years ago from sales when I was semi retired I did a few years in a vehicle dealership I can attest that the F&I office is where the "Serious" money is made.

I never get warranties - The $$ I have saved through the year adds up. I am a DIYer which helps a lot too. Getting an extended warranty does not mean issues will be fixed, nor does it mean you will have the truck back in a satisfactory amount of time or you ultimately be happy with the service. It just means you paid a few thousand dollars hoping your issues will be addressed when things go wrong. I had so much anxiety buying my F150 3.5 PB for 74k realizing that out of the gate there were issues and after 2 years glitches would have evolved and fixed. They have been but occasionally a little gremlin pops up. No visits to the garage after 19k.

Or it can just as well go the other way and save the owner a ton of money...

I think the key is being able to do the work Urself, especially if U are able to do the high tech work also. Also, if U pay a "few thousand dollars" then shame on U for not checking this forum for dealers that offer big discounts (I paid approx. $1,500) . I think that factoring in the reduced upfront cost would typically greatly reduce the "savings" of not having a warranty and depending what happens with a particular vehicle could actually save money.

Honda care....nope
Get a quote from Granger, zeigler
You will have to get the truck surveyed by a ford dealer..usually it's 2 labor hours..
They have to indpect or sign off of whole truck
Then your warranty is active
so if you buy from Granger, who does the inspection? I'm assuming the inspection is required? i'm just under 33K miles on my 22

My dad bought his Ford ESP from Zeigler and had 35K at the time and he didn’t have to get it inspected either so you’re probably good if you don’t wait too long.

I wish I would have done it, I bought mine used as well and have a lighting problem I wish I could take it in for. But it’s not a big enough deal where I wanna pay out of pocket.
