Entering Oil Change in Ford App

Hey Guys

Did they change the app? Where do you go to enter your oil change? I changed my oil back in August and entered it through the app. Was super easy, made it easy to attach the receipts and ODM readings.

Went in today to see at what Mileage I did that oil change at to find out the mileage in my service history is wrong. Way wrong. Then I wanted to look at the propts for adding an oil change and I cant figure out how to add an oil change at all??

What gives?

Also, I got gas on 8.25 and had 3452.3 on the ODM but i did the oil change on the 23rd and the app said it was 2159. I'm pretty sure I did the oil change the same day I got gas because thats the date stamp on the pics of the receipts I took. So now the date and Mileage is way off?? Also WTF?

Any thoughts?

on my ford pass there is a tab at bottom that reads ADD RECORD
i have used the feature a few tines on my wifes edge.
if a dealer did the service, they can also adjust the entry info if its incorrect

And I take a picture of the receipt laid on the instrument panel next to the odometer reading.

So I have date time stamp from the receipt combined with the odometer reading on the instrument panel.

I then upload it to the cloud from the app

I think it's confusing because it works for some and not for others. Even on the same version.

Do you not have add record choice?

Except, on my Android phone at least, you cannot attach photos to a maintenance record through the FordPass app. But you can on the Ford website/owner dashboard.

To OP, on my Android phone today I still have the "Add Record" button under Service History.

I'm currently having issues with the website version. Perpetual spin for anything I try to access after logging in.

I'm looking at my FP Service history now. It's clearly not working properly. First thing i notice is there is no "Add Record" button. And last week I edited the one service history I had entered after I found the oil and filter receipts a couple weeks after the fact. I successfully uploaded pictures of those receipts. The date of service is correct but mileage is wrong now, the photos are gone as are the notes I had entered. I had checked a couple times a couple days after the edit and all was correct.
And the only other Service History entry was from the Ford dealer when they fixed the turbo wastegate actuator and pigtail. The mileage is incorrect on that service also.

I had the dealer do my oil change so I could use the fordpass points and they listed the service as miscellaneous. i wouldn’t rely on the app.
