I'm showing an update for ACM. It appears to run normally but, when I refresh the screen, it's back again. What's up with that?

OK.

IPMA is finally processing correctly after a few attempts. I don't know what interfered before but it's been running for over an hour and seems to be progressing as expected. Assuming it completes without error, my truck will be caught up as much as I'm allowed to do, i.e., not BCM.

I entered your VIN in FDRS. It shows an update available for APIM: "G2171556-57.0". There's also a note that there are additional updates. "Update APIM to access updates to the following modules: GWM, APIM, TCU, GWM."

Does there being multiple instances of GWM listed mean that the update for TCU or the second update for APIM releases a second update for GWM?

I'm a noob with FDRS. If there's other information available that would help you, I don't know how to get it.

Edit: I'm going offline for awhile and will not respond immediately.

Yes. It means there’s an APIM and the following modules: GWM, APIM, TCU, GWM. Those updates need to be done in order. There may be others as well.

Struggling to update APIM… FDRS shows that I have an apim update available but once I copy the files and insert into the usb port after it says “indexing” nothing else happens. Currently on 22087

It can take a few minutes to kick off. Try a different USB drive if it doesn't work after a bit. Make sure you name the usb something short and simple like ford or sync.

I gave it over 15 min and tried twice so far.. it’s the same drive I used a few weeks ago to get past the first update. I also did a complete format of the drive after it didn’t work the first time (not a quick format)

That didn’t work either. Man I thought this shit was supposed to work fine after the initial update.. extremely frustrating. I guess I’ll go and buy a different flash drive tomorrow and try that. Don’t know what else to try.
