ECU module programming guide using FDRS

Been working on updates most of the day. Got to the IPC and got the usb error 0. Does anyone know the resolution to this?

I got GWM, APIM, and TCU to update before trying the IPC. That’s where I hit the block last night. Just reformatted the flash drive and left truck on charger all night to see if those fix the issue. Will update soon.

I was not able to update my IPC with the USB. I had to do it with CAN. It'll take 6 hours, but it'll work.

I'm so jealous that your finding solutions.
My problems are hardware or cables. I'm at the mercy of my dealer for now. I think I'm going to have to take on the process of replacing cables myself. I did locate a tsb that addresses my exact issue. If only my dealer would do it.

I'm 43% into a 2.5 hour CAN update right now for another member's truck. You're not alone in the struggle. ?

So I got this alert in FDRS last night, but it only showed up for the BCM module update. Anyone else had this issue and/or know the workaround?

This is expected. You will need dealer login details for this update to go through. BCM is the only module that throws this authentication prompt.

Ok, so I guess I’ll just hope it updates OTA after I manually update everything else. IPMA and PSCM are my last two to do.

FYI: PSCM will probably not come off the list either.

Thanks for the info. The ACM, if I remember correctly, didn’t come off after updating either. I’ll double check at the end of the PSCM update.

FCC. Not exactly sure everything that was added, but I assume part of it was the text for BC lane change assist and maybe some new animations for some of the ADAS features.
