A TCU update just showed up for my truck, a 2021 Job 1 Lariat 501a Powerboost. I looked at the software that came with it and it's dated 8/27/2023. That seems bizarre to me. Everything else is up-to-date, except I haven't installed the BCM update that was toasting LED modules.
I assume that is the TCU fix we have all been getting pushed out OTA?
It is fairly new going out but it could be dated same as the old one since it just fixes the asbuilt issue.

You may have already gotten it OTA
Maybe, if it happened it was silent. Only OTA's I was prompted about was the Driver Door & Audio one. Wouldn't surprise me if they uploaded it without telling me or notifying me either.

Super! I’m good then. Does that mean I’m also up to date on Power Ups? Thank you again for your help.
You're up to date on the power-ups and then some.

Was going to do some updates today and licensed up a couple of hours ago.

My trusty FDRS machine is getting failed logins, after succeeding once.

Is it just a Sunday thing right now?

A month ago I thought I would never see this screen, it went off with only 1 module fail but it went though on the 3rd try. only had 1 module that I had to reverify. The SCCM error is the same one that was talked about over the last few days so I won't worry about that for now. My Sync is on 23159 Rev 915. I know there is a newer version but my subscription to FDRS expired today so I'll try to get that next time. All in all very happy considering my truck hadn't received anything from the mothership since 11/21. Thanks for all the encouragement and advice over the last month, this turned out to be much easier than expected (just time consuming).

This is the cable I used, My neighbor has a repair shop and we were talking one day about updates and modules and he mentioned he had just bought this and if I wanted to use it I could. That was the only piece of the puzzle I was missing. This setup worked flawlessly. I ended up doing 15 updates, mostly APIM, GWM, and TCU.

Good morning. First off thanks to all that held my hand through my updates. It wasn't bad but without some help, not sure I could've got it done.

Now that I've done all my updates, I'm experiencing a few things I never did before and I'm wondering if anyone can shed some light.

I'm now getting a "Active Air Dam System fault" message when I get going. See picture 1. I bought my truck used and from the research I've done, I'm pretty sure the previous owner removed the valance (probably because of this error). It's a 21. I never got the message until I did the updates. I did notice that when I did a network test after completing the updates that the PCM was reporting a CMDTC. When I highlighted it, I did see that it had to do with the Air Dam. See pic 2 (the first time I had a fault on the ABS, after I cleared the codes, the ABS went away but was replaced by the PCM. I didn't get a picture that time). I cleared the code using FDRS again and figured I was GTG. The first time driving the truck after the updates, I got the error message in picture 1.

All that to say... is there a way to clear this code now that my FDRS license has expired without renewing it again? I comfortable with Forscan if that can help.

Second new thing I'm experiencing now is as soon as I engage cruise control, it turns my Lane Keep Assist on. Never did that before. Anyone have that happen?

Thanks again all

This is designed behavior, it's part of the BlueCruise 1.4 rollout process.

You might be another that needs the wizard Jesse to help.

Equivalent of 6.3.0 is latest APIM.

There is another update in the chain that is broken for some trucks. I had no issues getting it OTA but I think Ford broke it after that.

I did all of my updates 2 weekends ago and really did not drive my truck much until this weekend. I get that same fault while traveling on the interstate. I was not making the connection until you mentioned so I will be following for any updates.
