I had the same thing. Jesse suggested this change and it worked for me. All buttons now work as before. It adds the AUX camera to the view also.

I made the change in forscan this morning and all is working again. Including the option for the Aux. cam!

Funny issue after updating my APIM to the latest version. While using Android Auto and Waze, if you put in a destination and start to nav everything will be fine on the screen until you go from full screen to standard then you lose the time to destination, the ability to stop nav and the ability to search. Is anyone else seeing this. The only way around it is to reboot APIM while driving and input the destination again.

Yes I noticed the same thing. I use wired android auto and when it happens I just unplug the phone and plug back in to reconnect and it's back to normal. Verry annoying!

Hi all, seems like the dealer is useless, so time to DIY. Is the VCX Vxdiag device still ok to use, other than the network scan caveat? With 500+ pages, want to make sure there isn't any new information I missed. Or if anyone is successfully using it still would love to know.

From what I read, you are ultimately better off with Mongoose. There is some module update that I think errors out woth the Nano

Worse, the nano will brick (recoverable with a mongoose only) some modules.

OK... here I go (2021 Job 1)...
  • New APIM dealer installed last week
  • Mongoose is all setup with my laptop
  • FDRS licensed for a year (don't ask)
  • Without connection to the truck, I can see the work ahead
  • Read hours and hours on this thread (THANKS THANKS THANKS).
  • Watched 3 YouTube videos
  • @Jesse-Infotainment in the wings to help if needed
  • Have 3 days off and HVAC set in my shop to 72°

So... onward....

That might take you a solid two days NGL, surprised the IPMA isn't on the list yet, but I bet it will be once you start into it.
It could be because he didn’t scroll all the way down :p but yea all those updates will take a looooong time. I update 5 modules and it took almost 7 hours, and I don’t have a bluecruise truck either

A lot of those are 'coordinated' updates...so a lot of KOEO and clicking the OK button on the FDRS dialog...but it's not hard. Keep the powersupply voltage reading above 10.1 volts and bring lots of snacks. I don't see an IPC update in the list....so not that bad...

Remember any "emergency pull over safely, 911 not available, reverse brake assist not available, altitude low-pull up!" etc. messages you get while programming are all due to interrupted communications between the modules and are safe to ignore.

Also remember to turn off your auto-wipers or the wipers will activate the entire update.
