Snake, I'm waiting for the ota 4.. Ford's got it all figured out!, after the update there will be a button on the screen that flips the screen to portrait mode. As in the email we got. The update connects to the recalled wiper motor to sync 4 screen to accomplish the mechanical twist for sync 4a option. ? ? ?

Nevermind, I got it. Stupid virus protection. I thought I had it disabled. I completely uninstalled it now lmao

I’ll gladly admit that I was leading 2021 Woe charge but I wouldn’t have been the least bit upset with Ford about it if they did stop sending us updates.

I’m a tech nerd. I bought this truck because of the technology. I get a new phone every year, a new tablet and computer every few years, add to or replace my home automation almost weekly. Same with TVs, streaming devices, and my home theater. My home network as well.

If Ford stopped updating my truck, like I know they eventually will, I’ll probably replace it within a year or two of it happening. No big deal. Do I want them to update it as long as possible? Absolutely!

My laptop uses the MS AV that comes with Windows. I'm in FDRS everyday. Yet I couldn't get in this morning until I did a reboot of the laptop (it normally stays on all the time). So sometimes that happens. I normally have zero issues with Microsoft's AV and it seems to do the job and not interfere with FDRS at all. And it's free....

Mine had Mcafee or whatever it’s called on it. It is the trial/free one you get with a new PC. I will activate the MS AV when I am done today.
