Where/ how do I clear it?

If running the network scan doesn’t clear it, back out to the main vehicle identification menu. Click on View CMDTCs. Then click on Clear and Retest. If it’s just a communication error, it should clear and return green.

Got it, Thank You. A couple more questions: Does the thumb drive have to be completely empty? I have a folder called SanDisk Secure Access on the thumb drive. Will this interfere with the FDRS files? Do the files on the thumb drive have to be deleted between file transfers?

Reformat the drive as exFAT, anything on the drive other than the update will cause problems.

yeah, my nervousness is mostly gone. I have done a few updates so far and more keep popping up. Currently doing the APIM update for the second time. This one is taking a lot longer to copy to the flash drive. Must be a biggen ?
