I updated my PCM, ABS, BCM, CMR and SOBDC today without an issue, and got lucky and was able to create the USB for the APIM earlier.

Thanks for the advice, I’ve successfully updated the GWM and APIM, is it odd that there’s not a TCU update ? I’ve started on the rest of the list provided in order,,thanks again for that.

There could be another prerequisite update preventing the TCU from showing up. Ford doesn't list things as available until everything is right for software versions, and also doesn't show what may be pending if more stuff is done.

My issues w/ FDRS started about 10pm Sat night EDT, about to go see if they've cleared up. Given server maint on sunday, combined with the early access GWM update that pushed out last week, my guess is they were getting the IPMA/APIM update ready to go on the servers with limited testing commencing right now on company fleet.

A similar thing happened with the MME w/ the 4.2.1 GWM update preceding the APIM 4.2.2 drop which radically transformed the sync software.

And sometimes they do stuff like back-to-back GWM updates, so they don't always come out in GWM, APIM, TCU sequence. Admittedly, most of the time they do though.

So I’ve updated most of my modules at this point, GWM, APIM, and TRM remain orange while everything else is green. is there a step I’m missing ?

You're saying after you 'clear and retest' that those still come back as orange?

Getting the error usb failed as per pic below while doing the APIM sync update. copied all files to usb and transferred over then usb back to laptop then error as per pic attached. But the sync system looks updated and apim sync update is not in the list anymore. I think the apim sync got updated.?

Now trying to do the TCU Telematics and it gives me the same error usb fails and stops.

What you guys think?

Yea I saw that, I'm guessing the APIM was updated properly but the TCU portion still needs to be updated. This is for update 2.3.0

In this situation should I do a CAN bus update? If so is it about an hour or longer?

The TCU you can do CanBus. APIM you can not. The TCU will take a couple hours

One strange behavior. Since doing my updates my rain sensor wipers just stay on all the time if I have the wiper control in that position.

I have connected with ForScan and all the places that the spreadsheets note wipers show it enabled.

Any Ideas?

Nevermind, it was the sync update. It turned off the Rain Sensing toggle in Sync
