Is it safe to delete everything in the vehicle_software folder? I assume that it is.

Anyone have a clue as to why the APIM file would fail to download. Battery is reading 12.4v and BCM, ABS, GSM and one other module (can't remember the name)all updated fine. APIM is the only one with USB copy but it is failing at 5% on the first file DL.

That's what I am having an issue with. My download stopped at about 35%. I didn't even realize that it needs the USB method. The other module updates didn't. But the other modules updated just fine on the first try. I am going to delete my downloads and retry on Thursday. I'll post my findings.

I was having the code_0 error on the APIM update. Deleted that folder and had it download it again. When I first plugged in the USB using the USB C port it gave me this “update could not complete” almost immediately. I thought that was odd so I unplugged and plugged it in the USB port and it’s been updating for 20 mins so far.

Success! I have full screen Car Play! Now a TCU update popped up so I’m installing it.

Hi, everyone, I don't know if this has been asked, but in my situation, I have a single cab that I swapped over the 12" screen with apim is there a chance to get my apim updated via this method? I'm sure the OTA method is out of the question lol!

For anyone that had updated to full screen carplay a few months ago did you get 3.5.3 (I did) in the recent weeks? And further, has anyone in that same situation been pushed 3.5.4?

It’s weird but I did all of the updates on my own via FDRS, and it doesn’t say what my latest update is on the Software Updates page. It does however list the revision number on the Sync page.
