Any concerns with updating the following modules? Any special concerns, order of precedence, or gotchas anyone can advise?
Thank you in advance for the help and all of the support in this forum.

Took me 12 hours but now I'm in the Bluecruise club!!! Got my 1 year free activation soon as everything flashed.
I like your style.
You obviously lurked.
Researched
Never panicked nor asked a single question. (especially the ones that have been asked many times)
And then....... Reported success.

Congrats.

I was performing the TSB 22-2117 today and I get this error:" Exception trying to obtain diagnostic files from the backend server to repair this vehicle. This could indicate the VIN has been locked out." It is very repeatable.

I am new to my monogoose, but I have gotten numerous other updates through. Anyone know what my error message really means? Of course APIM did not work, I had no GWM update listed.

Chris
Send me your vin I want to take a look

Hey Everyone,
My ability to download any software updates/modules in FDRS randomly stopped working this morning. Anyone else running into this? Kinda seems like the problem is on Ford's side.

I've seen that on Sunday mornings before myself. I suspect weekend momentary service outages related to server maintenance?

Makes sense! I guess I'll just have to be patient yet another time :)

The live full screen bed cam is good stuff. Another plus ✊?
If you don’t have them already, the updates paved the way for a couple of FORScan changes that will get you rear and hitch views at speed as well.

It's up for me now but I can't go any further, stuck on APIM. I'll leave the USB drive in and hope for the best.

My truck was at the dealer for 2 weeks and they assured me bluecruise was installed. Of course my truck is still stuck on 1.7 with the grayed out update button. I decided to take matters into my own hands and bought the mongoose, required adapters, and frds license. I am able to get most of the way through the module repair utility and keep getting stuck on the part where I plug in the Ethernet cable/adapters. I tried 3 different adapters including the star tech that’s listed in the TSB. Has anyone successfully run the module repair using a Microsoft surface? Any help is appreciated. And if anyone in the Houston area can help get me unstuck I’d gladly compensate for your time. Here is a screenshot of where I’m getting stuck:

Many folks here got past that point without ever using the TSB method. Have you tried the traditional update method in FDRS?

I was lucky enough to get past 1.7 the old fashion way before the TSB came out, so I can't say I've been down that road before. But I do have a brand new windows 10 laptop and dozens of USB adapters for work, so I'de be happy to take a swing at it if you want to come by one evening. I'm on Grand Parkway south of Katy and north of Sugar Land.
