Your TCU updates are breaking/have broken the TCU's TRON key. You need a GWM patch that persistently attempts to repair TRON in the same manner the FDRS tool that repairs it does because the servers don't like to respond and needs to be told to keep trying. This can break the hotspot feature.

Such a patch will also resolve SSM 52730, w/ DTC - TCU U211B:51 which is capable of being cleared using the GWM TRON repair tool.

Sync 4 is still in active development and the encryption stuff is new. This post isn't really for the avg member on the board. It's something for someone who likely knows of the issue to be able to point to so that more resources get focused on it. I don't have insider knowledge but I can see signs of them trying to rectify something by pushing out updates. It's just another perspective on an issue they appear to be aware of but have yet to rectify.

It is really unfortunate they don't have you on a consulting agreement. The value would well outweigh the cost.

It is really unfortunate they don't have you on a consulting agreement. The value would well outweigh the cost.
I mean at the very least they could have left the PTS cookie exploit open instead of wanting me to pay for it :ROFLMAO:

I showed this to my dealer last week
He was amazed that ford is slow walking letting dealers fix this or even get notified

If you are confident that this is a server lack of response/timeout type issue I can forward this to someone I know on that team. Just an FYI, I do not work for Ford.

But the servers (and the internet) are ubiquitous, high bandwidth and latency free. I can still stream my Netflix. LOL
