Looks like the truck that was behind me yesterday.. same issue I'm having now and first one I noticed that has issues like mine. Actually took pic thru my rearview lol
it’s a lightbulb, I actually a light assembly. I don’t even believe the extended warranty covers lights.I have a 2022 F150 XLT. Passenger DRL went out about 2 months ago. I called Ford and they said it’s not a recall even though it’s happening to everyone. So I bought a replacement. Expensive. Today the driver side DRL went out. This is absolutely garbage. Any suggestions besides buying another replacement? Ford should take responsibility for this. Definitely would consider a different make of truck on my next purchase.

as much as I hate to say it, fancy features come with high replacement cost.
Did not know about that…….If you have Ford Premium Care, a $70 dollar add on covers all your lights

That was one of the options I definitely chose when I purchased my plan.Did not know about that…….
Kind of messed up though that something like LEDs, that are supposed to last so much longer than conventional lighting, are not lasting on many people's headlights.. it seems like they're failing in 2-3 years. That's one of the pluses of the lariats and upThat was one of the options I definitely chose when I purchased my plan.
If you don't have the lighting option and wish to purchase it after the fact, It must be done while the truck is still under the 3/36 bumper to bumper warranty. I just looked at trying to do this with my truck it's it can't be changed because I'm at 40months 29k miles. Which sucks, I was never asked about this option at the dealer during the purchase process. And no wish I knew this 5 months ago.Did not know about that…….
Yeah this is total crap. Seeing more and more trucks on the road with running light issues.Kind of messed up though that something like LEDs, that are supposed to last so much longer than conventional lighting, are not lasting on many people's headlights.. it seems like they're failing in 2-3 years. yep. now that mine went out i've been paying attention to this body style and i'm seeing lots of others with the side portion of the LED strip out.Yeah this is total crap. Seeing more and more trucks on the road with running light issues.
@Ford, where ya at?
What are the chances this becomes a TSB or recall? Slim to none?
