I just got one of these and took power straight from the rear view mirror right beside where I installed the camera.... the cables to the rear ran across around all the trim at the top.... nothing down low at all...

Wow that is a cool connector amazing you found it. I looked at splicing in there but the wires were to short to deal with. I took my power from the rear 12V power plug (took apart the console and wired to the back of the plug)and ran it all under the center console up the roof post. Leaving extra cable tucked under the console in case I need power for something else
I found one that supplied two separate usb ports. One for front and one for rear. Works perfect. Took 2 min to run the wire. So easy.
That was truly a great find, how did you find it?

This is what I’m using. Powers both my garmin dash cams.

I agree they can easily tucked behind the "A" pillar and run along the top of the roof liner. The harder part is finding switched power.
mine is powered off the front camera

Where is the best place to mount the rear cam if you have a sliding rear window? Would you just leave cable slack and mount on the slider? Does it look dumb that way?

I’m out at mine just to the driver side of the slider. I would not mount it on the slider. I honestly can’t tell by the video that it is offset.

Finally got around to this yesterday. Took A pillar and kick panel to hard wire power wire's to fuse box and run rear camera cable just tucked in head liner and tucked into B and C pillar. Very easy.

Cool. So you put it on the part where the slider doesn't slide into it?

What fuses for Power and Accesory did you use?
